MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT INTERIM CRUISE SHIP BUS STATION
MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT INTERIM CRUISE SHIP BUS STATION
This project was designed as a temporary facility to serve the cruise ship passengers for the duration of the construction of the South Terminal Expansion at MIA, which includes a new permanent facility. It consists of an open-air metal structure, which accommodates 8 covered bus parking positions as well as check-in counters and queuing. The baggage is directly loaded into baggage carts located behind the check-in counters. In addition there are 6 remote bus locations connected to the main facility by canopies. In order to facilitate the temporary connection of passengers through Concourse H temporary partitions were added to separate passenger circulation.
